BAU TREDICI - DRESS CODEX - urgenze contemporanee in veste di rivista

In 2004 the Italian artists Vittore Baroni and Antonino Bove founded the edition "BAU". Following the artistic tradition of situationists, Fluxus and mail art a "Container for Contemporary Culture" is published in form of an annual edition. This consists of a collection of very diverse positions, trans-media/interdisciplinary contributions of 70 artists from Belgium, Germany, Finland, France, Italy, Austria, Singapore and Turkey on a theme of the year, published in an edition of 150 copies. By now the project has been presented in form of exhibitions in many museums of contemporary art in Italy. Six artists who live in Vienna took part in the 2016 edition "BAU TREDICI - DRESS CODEX urgenze contemporanee in veste di rivista". In June the edition was completed in Viareggio and presented for the first time.
